Outdoor testing and use of metal detectors
(1) Find a metal-free area outdoors.
(2) Put the sample you want to detect (such as a gold ring or coin) on the ground, (if you are using a precious metal such as gold to test, mark the place where you want to find it later. Do not put the sample on the ground on tall grass or trees).
(3) Hold the detector so that the detection disk is parallel to the ground at 2.5-5 cm, and slowly move the detection disk above the sample placement area to search side-to-side (left and right).
